Code for phone numbers

My work computer utilizes Microsoft Lync. In documents with phone numbers, a symbol appears behind the phone number. When I click it, lync will dial that number. Where I can find the coding behind that phone number link?

Plug-in in your browser. Lync adds it, no special coding needed.

I use <html><a href="tel:phonenumber"> phonenumber :☎</a></html> in
TiddlyWiki on Android and iPhone.
