Hey Guys,

 

I ran across this site when I was researching fly fishing in and around the Washington, DC metro area. 

 

I'm in the process of moving back to DC from the San Francisco Bay area.  Out West I spent the majority of my time fishing the surf with a 2 hander Spey Rod for Stripers and Surf Perch.

 

Really looking forward to fishing the mid atlantic surf this fall.

 

Looking forward to meeting you all and posting on the board.

It hasn’t happened yet Rob, it is supposed to be Friday but the guy I was going with is now unable to go. Depending on work I might still be up for a wet wading trip to beat the heat if other folks are interested.

Guys,

I've been able to get out a few times from Nags Head to Annapolis as well as the Upper Potomac over the last couple of months. 

Even picked up a small Red Fish in Annapolis on my 2 hander. Looking forward to cooler weather and more surf fishing.
