Made the drive past Fredericksburg yesterday to fish the confluence. I spent two hours on the water and in that time I learned the water is now too cold for good fishing. I only saw one fish.
I decided to hike back to my car and try my luck with stripers on the outgoing tide under the route 1 bridge. No luck there either. It was a beautiful day though.
