What an amazing weekend!  It was great to see Rob and Lang out supporting Project Healing Waters this weekend.  Rob was one of the Pro-Vet guides, Lang was monitoring the stream, and I was teamed up with a soon to be vet.  There was some awesome fishing, but more importantly, some truly inspiring stories from the participants.  It was incredible.  For those that haven't been involved, take a look at www.projecthealingwaters.org.

I have to second everything you wrote except I might add that "inspiring" and "incredible" are understatements to some of things I heard and saw this weekend as a volunteer stream monitor.  As an example, I saw a disabled vet with one arm tie on a two-fly rig (with no assistance) and then proceed to fish what I thought was the most technical part of the Rose River like he was shooting fish in a barrel.  This part of the river had been skunking some of the better fishermen for four or five hours.

Project Healing Waters is truly a worthy cause and I enjoyed every moment of a long Sunday on the Rose River even with an afternoon rain shower that tried to put a damper on things.  I encourage everyone to check out the link Jim posted below.
