An invitation (limited to 5) to bring your kid(s) to a local fishing event! Saturday, April 27

This Saturday (4/27), the Broad Run High School Fishing Club will hold its Spring Tournament (at my house). There are 2 divisions: 1. High School students (artificial and fly only) 2. Non High School students (bait, artificial or fly).

The kids will fish a series of 3 ponds. This is a paper tourney....catch and release. The kids will measure their fish and write down each fish's length.....completely on the Honor System.

Here are the particulars:

This is a FREE event!  Our goals are to increase others' interest in fishing, have a fun competition and catch fish!

The tournament divisions will be as follows:

-Pre-HS Students
-High School Students
-Adult volunteers

7:30- High School registration
7:45- High School Start

8:00- Pre-high school registration
8:15- Pre-high school start

8:30-11:00- Adult volunteers can fish and help out the younger kids (High School kids are on their own but we can help them on where they can fish).

12:00- end of tournament, awards, prizes and hot dogs on the grill!

We have room for 5 TPFR members to bring their kids.....the 1st five that respond in the positive will get an invite.  Once we identify the 5 members, I can email my address (Ashburn VA).
