I was down there today cleaning the nets after the kids event this last
weekend. I fished for about an hour after getting all the hardware out
of the nets. The river is up, but a really nice color and it is FULL of
fish. Seriously. Knocked the crap out of the hickories on a pink and
silver fly. Nobody was down there today.

Is it easy to get a boat during the weekdays? I know you need to get
there at 6am to get one on the weekends.

Earlier in the week is always better, Fridays might as well be a weekend
when the shad are in. I got there around 7:30 to work and only two boats
were out. When I left, there were probably 4 boats out. There were
PLENTY of available boats at noon.

Brad, where did you catch that big striper you are holding in your picture, nice fish  !   Also I see you went to N.A.U.   I worked at A.S.U. for 6 yrs. and fished Lees Ferry often.   Terry
