Chain bridge in evening

Hi all,

I'm pretty new to fly fishing, and definitely love reading all the posts here.  I have a friend that is in town and wants to hit up the Potomac this evening.  So my question is, is it possible to park by Chain Bridge in the evening or should we just hit up Fletchers?  I know the Clara Barton is one way outbound then, and parking is pretty limited, so any tips would be appreciated.  I'd love to catch some shad and maybe a snakehead, but I really have just been itching to get out.
