So, did Target sell a used/refurb tablet as new? Did someone at the factory have a little hijinks and make a video of it?  Is the mother lying when she said it had the manufacturer's seal on it (that is, did she buy a refurb thinking it was new)?

I did a quick search, and it looks like that tablet is only available online; none of the physical stores stock it. I'm betting it was a returned item that was re wrapped and sold again.

Another story -- 5 year old kid finds"racy" photos on his 3DS.  At least in this case it was a clear refurb item bought from GameStop, who gave the kid a new 3DS and some games as well.
