Normally I cringe at these types of crossovers (i.e. Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes, Star Trek/X-Men, etc).  But for some reason this one has captured my interest.  I think it's Matt Smith.  If it had been Christopher Eccleston or David Tennant I think I still would have cringed.  However, Matt Smith is quirky enough that this might be a fun comic to read.

Just read the first issue of "Doctor Who/Star Trek: The Next Generation - Assimilated2".  It was surprisingly enjoyable!  It was more Doctor Who-centric than Star Trek, but still fun.  The writer really captured the voice and humor of the Doctor, Amy, and Rory.

I recommend it if you are a fan of both franchises.

If you want to hear about the other Doctor Who -- that is, Doctor Huu, the international supervillain -- please listen to my newest episode of Earth Destruction Directive, where I talk about King Kong Escapes!
