The Tejas 500 had 5 new records this year including:
· Scott Luikart, UMCA Male Champion 2014, Solo Male Upright category with a time of 26:16
· Ron Swift, Solo Male Bent category, with a time of 27:51 beating the previous record by 2 hours
· Robert Page, the most senior of all Tejas 500 participants, Solo Male Trike category
· John and Nancy Guth, 2-Person Mixed Upright category, beat their 2014 record by almost 40 minutes
· Maria Barraza, Vanessa Johnson, Dorothy Moman and Jennifer Pitcock set a new record for the 4-Person Female Upright Team category, team “S.Crude”
The Iron-Butt 24-Hour course records:
· James Hahn, Solo Male Single Speed
· Amy Russell, Solo Female Upright, beating her record from last year
· Andrew Gale and Rob Tulloh, 2-Person Male Upright Team
· Brice Moczygemba, Alexa Vance and Paul Vance, 3-Person Mixed Upright Team, “VELO-ciraptors”
The Tin Butt 12-Hour course records:
· Rich Putich, Solo Male Recumbent
· Kimberly Chesler, Bruce Green and Trey Walker, 3-Person Mixed Upright Team, “Crank It Up”
· Kem Barrett, Sherri Davidson, M’Linda McGuire and Amy Sides, 4-Person Female Upright Team, “Girls Gone Cycle”
The 6-Hour Shoot Out course records:
