Unable to catch Missed Call event and state.

Environment Details:

Phone：Xiaomi 2

OS：MIUI 8.1 stable global

Rooted?: No

Android Version：5.0.2

Tasker Version：4.9u4 (Google Play version)

Permission：Granted all permissions to Tasker.

Issue Description:

I want to log missed calls to a file `MissedCallsLog/mc.txt`, I created a State/Phone/Missed Call profile and linked to a Write File task, it doesn't work as I aspected, no MissedCallsLog/mc.txt log after few missed calls on my phone, however, manually running the Write File task works fine. I also tried to use Event/Phone/Missed Call profile to log missed calls, but it doesn't work either.

I've locked the Tasker app in MIUI, ensure it always runs in the background.

I've attached my config file in the post, make sure create the `MissedCallsLog` folder before running the task.

I assume you're getting your Android notification of a missed call. Correct?

You can also check the run log. Menu / more / run log. To see if the profile is firing.

To post your profile or task here...  Long press on the profile or task name / ( 3 dot menu with 4.0+ ) export / export "DESCRIPTION" to clipboard (not XML)

Any linked tasks will be exported with the profile they are linked to..

To be able to export, The beginner mode needs to be off and the profile needs to be named by you (Not the Tasker listed name.  Tasker will list your profile with the context name if you have not given it one).

However, the Tasker is still unable to catch the Phone event/state.

I switched a new Xiaomi Note 3 Pro with the latest Lineage(Android 7.1.2) installed, granted all the permissions to Tasker, but it still doesn't work, I'm confused, am I the only person who has this issue? all I want is monitoring missed phone calls and send it to my Telegram channel, the action works fine.

Just tested on my Xiaomi 8.2 device.

Have you tried without 'ANY' in the match field of the 'Missed Call' event?

Also do something simple like playing a beep when the missed call occurs.
