Last November the Discovery Institute finally gave all the intelligent
design creationists around the world a list of their "best" evidence for
intelligent design creationism. They could not bring themselves to call
the "evidence" scientific evidence, and it is obvious that intelligent
design has always been a continuation of scientific creationism because
the entire list consisted of evidence that had already been used by, and
had already failed as science for the scientific creationists. There
was the addition of IC, but IC is basically just the scientific
creationist claim that the flagellum is a designed machine with the
irreducible complexity nonsense thrown in, and Behe has never verified
that his type of IC exists in nature to talk about. It is evident that
the "best" of ID had already failed the scientific creationists over 30
years ago. The failure that made the name change to intelligent design
necessary.

The Discovery Institute has not retracted this list, and it basically
killed IDiocy on TO. What it means is that guys as lost as Kleinman are
just spinning their wheels because there isn't anything worth arguing
about. Everything not on this list is second rate even by creationist
standards, and Kleinman's probability argument had failed the scientific
creationist over 30 years ago and it did not make the "best" list.

If there were anything worth arguing about the IDiot/creationists on TO
should be wallowing in the greatness of the "best" of IDiocy instead of
running from it. It has been a year and IDiots like Kalk and Glenn have
never been able to get themselves to address the best evidence that they
have always had. This same list could have been put up when the ID
perps started the Discovery Institute's ID scam unit back in 1995.

No progress since the failure of scientific creationism. Things are so
bad that Bill claims that he never supported the ID scam. How many
years has Bill been posting on TO? Bill is the IDiot who claimed that
he knew who the real ID scientists were that had the real ID science.
This is the status of IDiocy on TO at this time.

This is as good as it has gotten in over 23 years and as good as it
likely will ever get.

This is the best that the intelligent design movement had when they
resorted to running the bait and switch on their creationist support
base in 2002, and the list is obviously the reason why the bait and
switch scam was needed, and all any creationists are ever going to get
is the obfuscation switch scam that doesn't mention that ID ever
existed. Irreducible complexity is the only thing that the scientific
creationists didn't use and IC is only a buzz phrase added to the
flagellum is a designed machine scientific creationist junk type denial
arguments. Behe first put IC up in the book Of Pandas and People before
the Discovery Institute's ID scam unit was formed.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Of_Pandas_and_People

This is the same Of Pandas and People that the Discovery Institute
recommended be used to teach intelligent design in the public schools.

http://arn.org/docs/dewolf/guidebook.htm

This is the guidebook for teaching intelligent design that the Discovery
Institute used to give out with their IDiot video before the bait and
switch started to go down. You can skip down to the conclusion to see
how the ID perps used to sell the teach ID scam before they started
running the bait and switch on all the creationist rubes that believed
them about the ID science. You used to be able to download a pdf of
this booklet for free at the Discovery Institute, but it looks like the
links are broken and they charge $7.00 to get the booklet.

https://www.discovery.org/a/58/

Of Pandas and People is best known for the switcheroo that occurred
during the writing of the book. When the creationists lost in Arkansas
in 1982 the decision included the fact that there were no creation
science teaching materials suitable for public schools. All the
creation science literature was laced with Bible verses and biblical
mythology. Kenyon and Thaxton recognized that a text book was needed
that removed the biblical references, and they started writing Of Pandas
and People to fill the hole. The early drafts of the book called what
they were talking about "creationism".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLean_v._Arkansas
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/mclean-v-arkansas.html

The Arkansas case was never appealed to a higher court, but Lousiana did
pursue their creationist efforts all the way to the supreme court, with
the same results as the Arkansas case. Scientific creationism was found
to be no science worth calling science.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edwards_v._Aguillard
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/edwards-v-aguillard.html

After the Supreme court decision in 1987 the draft text of Of Pandas and
People was changed from creationism to intelligent design. This was
documented in the Kitzmiller v. Dover ID court case. If you read the
Supreme court decision you will note that the creationists did not have
to change the name of what they were doing. The decision held that if
any creation science was ever produced, that the science could be taught
in the public schools. The court noted that just because science may
support certain religious beliefs such as old earth creationism, that
would not be grounds for prohibiting the teaching of science. So flat
earth creationists can't get globes removed from the class rooms because
they support someone else's religious beliefs. This holds as long as
the science is legitimate. The initial IDiots (Kenyon was the main
author, Thaxton was the editor, Behe admitted to writing some of the
book without getting credit, and Meyer wrote the teachers notes for the
textbook. All became initial fellows of the Discovery Institute's
intelligent design scam outfit.) didn't have to change the name of what
they were doing. They obviously only did it because all they had was
the junk that had already failed as creation science. It is just a fact
that if intelligent design creationism had actually produced some real
science they would not have had to change the name from creationism to
intelligent design. This is true even now, the IDiot/creationists could
go back to calling what they want taught "creationism" and they could
teach it in the public schools as long as they had some actual creation
science worth teaching.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitzmiller_v._Dover_Area_School_District

So it has been a year and not a single IDiot has tried to support the
"best" evidence that they have always had since the start of the
creationist's ID scam when creationism was changed to intelligent
design. I haven't seen anyone supporting this list, not even the ID
perps at the Discovery Institute. That has to be sad in anyone's book.
What is likely worse is that the regular IDiots on TO have known for
years that ID was just a creationist scam that the creationists were
running on themselves. No creationist rubes have ever gotten the ID
science when they have needed it. All they have ever gotten from the
guys selling the ID scam is a switch scam that doesn't mention that ID
ever existed. The bait and switch has been going down since 2002. That
is over 16 years of no creationists ever getting the promised ID
science. The "best" list should tell anyone that there never was any ID
science worth giving to the rubes.

As it is this has been a year with no scientific progress on IDiocy, and
the ID perps had to run the bait and switch on the Utah creationist
rubes who wanted to teach the ID science in their public schools as the
Discovery Institute was putting up this bogus list last year. No one
that I know of has been stupid enough to try to teach the IDiot junk in
the past year. The main creationist support base for IDiocy obviously
would not want anything to do with the "best", and anyone with any sense
left should understand that if you don't want to teach the "best" why
teach anything at all about intelligent design. Really, an IDiot like
Pagano claimed that the list was bogus. If you check out the evidence it
means that geocentrism is dead, not only that, but it means that young
earth creationism is dead. Sure, just about everyone except for Pags
understood that geocentric creationism was dead long ago (Newton was
born the year Galileo died under house arrest), and the young earth
creationists have been out of touch with reality for a few centuries
themselves. It looks like most of the ID perps are old earth
creationists, but Discovery Institute fellows like Kenyon and Nelson are
young earth creationists, and neither one has commented on the "best" of
IDiocy.

So what is next? Going to the ID perps to get junk that is worse than
the best is a stupid thing to do, though Kalk and Glenn did try that a
couple of times after running in denial from the "best" for around 6
months. Neither one has tried again since that brief period of
insanity, obviously, worse than the usual insanity because both did stop
doing it. The clueless like MarkE and Vtard will still go to the ID
perps for junk, but none of the old timers have done it for several
months. Shouldn't that give creationists like MarkE a clue?

It is just a fact that IDiot anti evolution creationists have to deal
with the "best" of IDiocy. It is the same junk that has failed them for
decades.

Most creationists quit the ID scam after Dover. Phillip Johnson (the
guy credited with getting the modern ID movement rolling) quit the ID
scam after Dover and admitted that there never was any ID science to
teach in the public schools. The IDiot science organization (ISCID)
closed the doors in 2008 and hadn't added any new articles to their
journal since 2005. The ID Network died in 2009. The "best" of IDiocy
should tell anyone why ID is now a dead issue for most of the
creationists that bought into the ID scam.

So what are the anti-evolution creationists going to do with the "best"
that they have? Why would creationists like MarkE and Vtard go to the
ID perps for second rate junk instead of dealing with the "best"?

Ron Okimoto

As an addendum to this post: I will note the fact that all the
intelligent design movement ever was, was making the claims that they
had the science that could back up their creationist beliefs. They
never attempted to verify their claims, or if they did verify any of
them they never told anyone what the results were. Irreducible
complexity, Specified Complexity, Complex Specified Information, the new
IDiot law of thermodynamics, and space alien designers (the most
scientific IDiot hypothesis by the ID perps own standards) were only
claims, they never wanted to do the science to get the answers.

One of the latest examples of that is the stupid Adam and Eve study that
the Discovery Institute's Biologic Institute was supposed to be working
on. Two years ago the Biologic Institute published their claims that
they were going to do the study that would demonstrate that all the
genetic variation found in the extant human population could have come
from just two individuals. They published two papers on how they were
going to do the study in their Bio-Complexity journal. At the time I
predicted that the study results would never be published. It has been
two years and it looks like the results will not be published.

The Adam and Eve study is just another example where the claims were
made, but no verification was done. The reason that the verification is
never done is due to what happened to the scientific creationists. None
of their flood geology or age of the earth science ever panned out, and
the results always indicated that they were wrong. In this case, since
the IDiots at the Biologic Institute claimed that Neanderthals would be
included as humans (no one can deny that we have Neanderthal DNA
sequences segregating in the extant human population) they were doomed.

Yes, you can get the variation to come from just two individuals, but
you are talking about two individuals that would have existed almost a
million years ago. You have to first evolve the variation needed to
create the Neanderthal and modern human populations, wait a half million
years for the two populations to diverge enough so that when they came
back together and interbred that the hybrids would generate the
sequences that we observe today. The results will never see publication
because the largest support base for the creationist ID scam are young
earth creationists who believe that the earth is less than 20,000 years
old. It turns out that the ID perps never wanted to know the answer,
but they made the claim anyway, and making the claim is as far as they
ever got. I assume that they never intended to complete the study. It
is just a fact that you normally wait until you have some results before
you publish how you did something. There really isn't any reason to
publish how you are going to do something before you get anywhere. This
was just another claim that was only made to fool the rubes for a bit.

It is just a fact that no verification is ever done by the ID perps.
That is why all IDiots only have the 6 "best" and IDiots can't accept
that reality.

http://bio-complexity.org/ojs/index.php/main/issue/view/30

This link is to the 2016 vol where the ID perps published two articles
on how they were going to verify their claim that all the genetic
variation found in extant humans could have come from two original
humans. You can check the subsequent volumes and there never was a
publication of the results. Behe has had over 25 years to verify IC,
but that is likely never going to happen. The point should be that in
the case of the Adam and Eve study the ID perps obviously had the means
to produce the verification. They had set up what they needed in order
to complete the study. They could have concluded that two individuals
could have originated the human species, but the results would have told
them that creationism was wrong. Young earth creationism would be
invalidated, and what we know of biological evolution would have been
vindicated. This is why no ID science will ever be done by the current
ID perps. The intelligent design creationists, do not want to know what
science can tell them. They learned that lesson from the scientific
creationists that failed before them. Do you ever hear any creationists
crowing about the scientific results of the failed flood geology
experiments that Morris conducted in his water tanks?

So this is how anti evolution creationism fizzles out on TO. IDiocy is
obviously dead, and the only anti evolution creationists left are the
ignorant, incompetent, and or dishonest like Alpha Beta.

https://groups.google.com/d/msg/talk.origins/Lk1VnAmdbeI/xZNpf8vgAgAJ

https://groups.google.com/d/msg/talk.origins/GkRYPfN0Qaw/tw4lHHg2AwAJ

It has to be sad for anyone observing what has happened to the anti
science crowd. Alpha Beta's junk failed the scientific creationists
over 30 years ago. It was a failure so bad and complete that the IDiots
decided to change the name of what they were doing.

Why would anyone with any brain activity put up this type of junk?

It is obvious that the anti evolution IDiots have been running from the
"best" of IDiocy for a year. They just can't face the fact that there
never was any ID science worth discussing. The only guys putting up an
effort are guys so clueless that they don't understand what the failure
of IDiocy is and means to them.

It looks like there will never be a time when the anti evolution faction
will ever attempt to produce something positive. No alternative will
ever be produced because they never wanted to understand what their best
alternative was. They only wanted to support their religious beliefs in
the face of reality.

Anyone with the brain power to lie about the situation at this time
should be able to take the "best" the ID perps/anti evolution
creationists have ever had and start to build their best alternative.
The largest support base for the creationist ID scam will not do this
because the "best" tells them that their theology is wrong. The
alternative that they would create using the scientific method is one
that they can't live with. So why lie about what they have been doing
for years?

If you are an anti evolution creationists the science is just not going
to give you the answers that you want. ID perps like Behe and Denton
have known this for years. That is why they have claimed that
biological evolution is a fact of nature. Their creationist beliefs
have to fit within that reality, but if you go to their stupid IDiot
organization (the Discovery Institute) you find the ID perps arguing
against theistic evolution on theological grounds. Not scientific
grounds, but because they claim it is bad theology. What kind of
theology lies about reality and expects to get away with it when the
ringleaders understand that they are lying about the fact of biological
evolution?

This is the sad state of anti evolution creationism today. It has all
been pretty much unnecessary. The Catholic church hasn't bucked
evolution for decades and you have clergy that acknowledge that the anti
evolution junk is bogus and something that should not be done.

Clergy Letter Project:
https://www.theclergyletterproject.org/

So what is next? More of the same seems to be stupid thing to do. It
looks like you either go back and live with your faith or you actually
try to build the best alternative that you can. This is something that
the ID perps and the scientific creationists before them never tried to
do, but it is what they should have done if they really wanted to
participate in the scientific challenge. The IDiots have been lying
about doing the science for decades, so why not try to finally do some
science?

Kalk has come back and started to support the obvious indicated above.
It seems that all Kalk can think of to do is to wallow in denial instead
of wallow in the "best" of IDiocy and try to make the best alternative
that he can. This is likely all that IDiocy/creationism will ever be on TO.

https://groups.google.com/d/msg/talk.origins/GkRYPfN0Qaw/xq6U7Q6aAwAJ

Denial, and never dealing with the actual issue. What does Kalk have to
put up? What good is the denial at this point in time when Kalk can't
even face the "best" evidence for creationism that he has ever had and
likely ever will have. He has kept going back to the ID perps for
denial arguments for years, and he finds himself unable to deal with the
"best" that he always had.

If there ever was any interest in doing any intelligent design science,
when is any ID science ever going to get done? When will IDiots like
Kalk ever deal with any science to learn something about nature? That
is all science is, it is just how we study nature. The issue obviously
is that Kalk already understands that he doesn't want to do the science
because he doesn't want to know the answers. They are not the answers
that support his religious beliefs. Denial is the only way he can think
of to maintain those religious beliefs.

He could demonstrate otherwise, but when is that ever going to happen?
He obviously could start with the "best", but that hasn't been an option
for a year of abject denial. When is the denial ever going to end?
