Hi all,
My company needs to hire an engineering person in Phoenix. We're a
consulting/hardware/IT shop that does storage, networking, cloud
migrations and similar. I'm currently having to cover this from
SoCal, so we need to get someone as soon as possible.
In general, we need someone who learns fast, likes being in front of
customers, and has some kind of IT background. Programming/scripting
experience is also helpful.
The main duties are meeting with the technical contacts at our
customers and figuring out what they need, then architecting
solutions. There is some hands-on work, but mostly in
proof-of-concepts or things that you are the best person at.
The company is privately-held and definitely hacker/family friendly.
They have sponsored events like LayerOne and Toorcon in the past.
