There’s a Happ Controls office in Las Vegas:


At least a few years ago you could walk in and just buy a joystick and buttons, crt’s etc. Call ahead to make sure it’s still the case before you drop in though!

I've purchased them at the local Fry's in the past. Not a spectacular selection, but they have red and blue at least.

Happ had a $50 minimum. Found some out of state that aren't too deep for my application. 

In case anyone ever asks again in the future I found a great selection over at http://videogamesnewyork.com/buttons/
