Solution to issue 2328

My name is Vincent Anup Kuri. I'm a 2nd year computer science student from PESIT college in India. I've been very interested in GSoC, but due to certain circumstances i could not participate last time. Want to do it this time :) I was going through the github page and i looking at the project ideas. The pde module implementation caught my eye and i'm really interested in doing it. I have a good coding experience in python and my mathematics are good as well. So before i went about the project, i had a look at the student application template. I noticed that we are required to submit a patch with our proposal. So i went to the issues list and tried solving one of the issues:

I would love to hear back from you. I'm eager to do my best :) I would love to find solutions to other issues, i'm confused as to which to start off with :)
