For anyone out there on the mailing list, etc - we have an active presence on Telegram which you may not be aware of.   

The Google Groups are great for sharing conversations, history, etc with a wide audience (and they're searchable from google), but they lack the real-time nature of messaging platforms and aren't a great place for random chat.  For that, we've pretty much settled on Telegram, at least for now.  Join the main discussion group using this link:

Click on the "Main Group" box in the Telegram section.
