Changing landuse/crop!!!

I am involved with SWAT model as part of my project work.. I wanted to change the land use/crop in the HRUs using the textinout files. Where can i make the changes? I think it is in the .mgt and .hru files. But, exactly where? I saw that there is a "Luse" term with 4letter code in the first line of these files. Will changing that serve my purpose?.

You can find the answer by looking at [1, pp. 230, 241]. It is a bit inconvenient to do everything by hand. 4 letter codes are peculiar to ArcSWAT only and not SWAT. Is there a particular reason you want to edit SWAT input files and not to use ArcSWAT?

Crop is specified by integer ID in dot mgt file in "Operation Schedule" as described in section 20.2.1 [1, p.256]. IDs and parameters are listed in crop.dat file [1, p.184].

No, first line is just a comment as you can see in [1] on p.229 and p.241.
