Creative Industries Manifesto shared with all political parties
The Creative Industries Federation and Creative England jointly published a Creative Industries Manifesto on Tuesday 29 October. That evening, the House of Commons voted for a general election to take place on December 12th. We have shared the manifesto with all political parties in order to ensure that the creative industries play a role in forthcoming election campaigns. It is vital that the key issues impacting the UK's creative industries are addressed in the campaign and policy changes are made by the next Government to enhance our thriving sector and move past no-deal uncertainty.

Julie's Bicycle calls on the Creative Industries to join their campaign inspiring young people to vote in the general election
There are 2 million people aged 18-30 who care about climate and will be most affected by it, but are not registered to vote. Their voices won’t be heard. Politicians need to know that people are registering to vote because of climate change.
Over the next couple of weeks, Julie’s Bicycle will run “Creative Sprints” across the country for creative organisations in cities where young people’s registration is low.
Things that you can do now:
- Register interest in the campaign to hear more!
- Share the campaign with your networks #ItsOurTime #MakeClimateCount
- Get creative: this is an invitation to join us and bring your creativity to this challenge… so start thinking!
You can find more information on ItsOurTime.org.uk and if you think you can help you can go straight to register HERE,
