2 April Digest

We're so looking forward to performing in concert for you tonight! We hope you have your tickets bought already, but if you haven't, please click the link below. If you can't join us tonight, don't forget that the concert will be available for 30 days after the broadcast so you will be able to access it throughout April.

We have some more Mindful March videos for you, some further information about the White Ribbon project with Women's Aid ABCLN and Northern Ireland Opera, details on how to sign up for our online relaxed performance and news of another digital concert later this month.

Finally, on Easter Saturday (3 April) we can offer the best kitchen disco going, as BBC2 NI will be broadcasting footage from our 2019 Lush! Classical concert at 9pm. Time to find the glow sticks!

On behalf of everyone at the Ulster Orchestra, have a peaceful and pleasant Easter!
Fanfare for Spring will be online tonight! A pre-concert talk will also be available for all concert-goers and it will be the first event to take place under our new umbrella, The Green Room. Click the image for full details and to book - the concert will be available for 30 days after broadcast so you have plenty of time to enjoy it!
Our second Mindful March video brought a little Puccini for some welcome breathing space. Take time out, clear some space and refocus your mind as you listen.
As part of our work on the White Ribbon anthem, we are proud to present this documentary made by Northern Ireland Opera, 'Creating the Anthem'. The White Ribbon anthem's official public launch is on 9 April so keep an eye on our social media channels for details.
Our online Relaxed Performance for people with additional needs and their families is now available. If you would like to access the free film and resource pack, email L...@ulsterorchestra.com. Our thanks go to Autism NI & the NOW Group for their advice & collaboration, and we gratefully acknowledge the support of the
Department for Communities for the project.
Our final Mindful March video featured a little bit of Elgar. If you enjoyed this series and would like more music with a mindfulness theme, please do let us know.
Our next digital concert will be aired on 16 April 2021. Siegfried and Schubert features Wagner's beautiful Siegfried Idyll, Dobrinka Tabakova's Fantasy Homage to Schubert and Schubert's own Symphony No.3. Conductor Robert Houlihan returns to the podium - click the image for more information and to book.
As we look forward to a new phase in UO activity tonight, we've been reflecting on the last year. And it's been quite a year! Here's a whistlestop tour of just some of the things we've achieved during the pandemic.
