To mark Dublin’s status as one of the proud hosts of the UEFA EURO 2020 finals next Summer, the Festival, in conjunction with Dublin City Council’s EURO 2020 Project Office, the FAI and the Dept. of Transport, Tourism & Sport, is delighted to announce a season of football films to run from the finals draw in late November right up to tournament time in June!

Bringing together a wide range of football films, from much-loved English-language classics like The VanThe Damned United and Bend it Like Beckham, to arthouse gems like Zidane: A 21st Century PortraitThe Beautiful Game offers a smorgasbord of football-themed films for fans to enjoy.

Each film will be preceded by archive footage of a classic Irish football moment, right from the earliest international recorded on film to the iconic penalty that put Ireland into the quarter finals at Italia ’90.
