To fund herself while studying, Serina Apaloo-Gordon worked as a hairdresser’s assistant, a telesales assistant selling double glazing, and a shop assistant; but she knew she wanted to work in theatre. Eventually a two week work placement turned into a four year stint as a project assistant with the Young Vic Theatre and Serina's theatre career blossomed. Read more about her journey.

Mark Bithrey was always good at drawing at school and headed for the traditional art school route after A-levels. However he soon realised that he was going to need much more than this to succeed as an interior designer. Find out about how he became the director of his own company.
