Episode 4: ‘’Forgiveness“
Greg O’Leary, a member of an IRA breakaway group, was 19 in 2010, the year of the bomb attack he was sent to prison for. Now, 10 years later, he is finally released. What he doesn’t know: His own wife Aideen reported him back then. After his release, the son of the victim of the attack is looking for a victim-perpetrator-meeting. Cathrin Blake is asked to supervise the process. However, Daniel doesn’t want to be victimised and he doesn’t want to forgive. Secretly, he is planning his revenge. Meanwhile, Greg and his wife are slowly reconnecting in Galway, where Aideen and her son Adrian moved to after Greg was arrested. Greg’s former IRA contacts slowly reappear in his life. They are worried Aideen might betray them, too. A bomb attack goes wrong and a Garda officer dies. The Garda begins to look closer at the family O’Leary.
Only Cathrin notices what is going on with Daniel and that he is the true threat. However, the Garda cannot act until something actually happens. Cathrin tries with all her might to stop the devil’s circle of revenge. Greg can forgive. Daniel cannot.
YOUNG DANIEL WARD (Age 12) Northern Irish Accent Approx 1 scene
We meet Young Daniel Ward in the flashback of the courthouse bombing 10 years ago. He is walking down the street with his father when he notices the countdown clock in the car with the bomb.
We are matching our YOUNG DANIEL with an older actor, so ideally, he should have brown or dark hair and brown eyes.
