Did you know Portico is run almost entirely by volunteers?
Ushering, gardening, selling tickets, cleaning, tour-guiding, online marketing, book-keeping, fund-raising...
Our fabulous volunteers do it all!
|
|
So why do they do it?
"I want to do something useful"
"It's great craic"
"I've learnt about the sound system"
"Gets me out of the house"
"Free social life!"
"I like to keep busy"
"I love the arts"
"I like meeting people and making new friends"
"Going to things you wouldn't have thought about going to before - seeing new things"
