This month Breastival are giving you two chances to see Let Down for free. "A danced window into women's experience of feeding their babies" The Being Human Festival hosts the first performance on Saturday 24th November at 2pm in Belfast's Brian Friel Theatre A second performance takes place during the Human Rights Festival on Sunday 9th December in the same venue. Tigers is a true story about a salesman taking on the baby formula industry once he realises the implications of his work in Pakistan. The film is being publicly released in India tomorrow and we are very honoured to be among the first to have special screenings here in NI. Screenings are taking place in the following locations: 22nd November @ 6pm in Omniplex, Craigavon 29th November @ 6.30pm in Brunswick Moviebowl, Derry/Londonderry 10th December @ 11am & 6pm in Strand Arts Centre, Belfast A trailer of the movie and details of where to get tickets are available on http://www.babymilkaction.org/tigers Breastival volunteer and author Virginia Méndez is hosting two events in this year's NI Human Rights Festival focusing on gender stereotyping in children. Virginia hosts "Educating In A World Of Gender Stereotypes" - a participative discussion in the newly appointed feminist-led queer art space The 343 on Thursday 13th December from 7pm. Join Virginia again on Saturday 15th December at 11am in Holywood Arches Library to hear her read from her book Mika & Lolo. The reading will be followed by an open discussion for children about the book, gender stereotypes and the importance of remaining faithful to who they are.
