The 48HFP Is Turning 20--Make A Poster To Celebrate!

In less than two months, the calendars will turn the page to 2020, which means that the 48 Hour Film Project will be celebrating 20 years of filmmaking fun!

That's right, the 48HFP turns 20 in 2020. We're planning all sorts of fun things to celebrate what's happened over the past twenty years--the first of which is a poster contest. And YOU can join in on the fun by submitting a poster design. The winning design will be seen by thousands of filmmakers all around the world AND get a $250 cash prize!

We want to see what the last twenty years of filmmaking has meant to you. We'll select our favorite poster from the entries to be the design that is used in our 48HFP cities all around the world throughout our entire year of celebration!

All poster designs must be submitted by Monday, December 2nd at noon. We'll choose the winner from the entries sometime in mid-December and announce the winner so we can have the posters ready for the beginning of next year.

Last Chance To Register For Four Points Film Project!

This is your absolute LAST CHANCE to sign up to be a part of this year's Four Points Film Project, taking place November 8th-11th. The 4PFP is the official online version of the 48 Hour Film Project, and it is open to filmmakers anywhere in the world--even if you don't live in a city that's part of our current filmmaking tour!

The 4PFP films are judged by a panel of film professionals, and the top 4PFP film will be awarded $3000 USD and screen at both Filmapalooza: Dutch Edition in 2020, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner. Additionally the top 15 films will be made available online where the general public will vote for the winner of Audience Favorite, who will receive $1000 USD and also screen at Filmapalooza.

Each film took the top prize in their respective city on this year's 48HFP tour, and will go on to represent their city at next year's Filmapalooza (in Rotterdam, March 2020). They will also each have a shot at screening in next year's Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner.
