Awesome. I'm not sure we have fixed criteria for running for a
position, so I'd say that you're welcome to run -- people can always
vote RON if they don't think that that's valid.
It's worth noting that the Steering Committee roles [1] are intended
to be leadership/guidance roles -- ideally much of the actual work
would be delegated to others in the community, though admittedly this
doesn't tend to happen.
