Yay.  We made it.  The world didn't end. And we have...

The Eleventh Quiz-Making Contest!

How it Works:

• For the contest, there will be a theme. All entries must pertain to that theme in any way.
• To enter your quiz, just post it on this thread.
• October 5 will be the last day for entering. Voting will then start at midnight EST, and take place for 3 more days.
• The winning quiz will (if all goes well) get published on Sporcle.
  

How to Vote:

Email me (sporcl...@gmail.com) with your vote. Your email should look something like this:

1. [Quiz 1] (your favorite entry)

2. [Quiz 2] (second favorite entry)

3. [Quiz 3] (third)

1st place is worth 3 points, 2nd is worth 2, and 3rd is 1. Please only tell me your top three.  

I will then tally up the votes and post our winner here.

 

Other Rules:

• You may only enter one quiz.
  
• You may vote if you've entered, but please don't vote for your own quiz.
  
• When voting, make sure to tell me your Sporcle username.
• Entries must be created after the contest has started.

I’ll have to get my thinking cap on for a suitable entry into this – are you sure “We didn’t start the fire” hasn’t been done before??? J

 

RedBengalTiger – Your quiz Fire and Swords – My comments would be, who the heck are these people!? And because it’s a 50/50 quiz if you get one wrong you can obviously make a correct guess next time around. I just wonder if the man on the street would know any of these answers off the top of their heads?

 

Scott – Your quiz People on Fire – Great URL choice J - Enjoyed this one although as a Brit I’ve no idea about the US (I presume) version of Celebrity Apprentice. Can’t believe though when I got down to guessing the last few answers I kept multi-clicking the same thing. Yep, if Meat Loaf isn’t a “Grace under Fire” actor once, he’s still not going to be one twice! DOH!

Two reasons for doing this, firstly I love a lyrics quiz myself and secondly I won’t rest until everyone has heard of the superb Steam Powered Giraffe!

 

It probably won’t get many plays, but I know I’ve done by bit for art!! J

I actually was looking up the information a while ago, as I have an interest in both activities (did anyone check out the sword-swallower link? I'm a long time Sporcle player, but fairly new quizmaker, and this is my first contest entry (not to mention my first quiz of this type). I accept any and all feedback, comments or critisism.
