Spanning Sync needs option for correct name formatting in Japanese

I think my address book with gmail contact but, name formatting gets
messed up.

I have my address book's option to sort by <Last Name><First Name>
(Ex. Smith John)

But in the Gmail contact list all the names becomes <First Name><Last
Name> (Ex. John Smith)
Now, this is correctly formatted for the western culture but not in
Japan.

Spanning Sync need some kind of option to keep the Address Book's name
formatting
to accomodate Japanese names.

To answer my own question: no. The software has been translated, not localized. For example, the software does not recognize the format for Japanese mobile phones.
