Hi, when trying to sync my calendars, I get err msg "The selected iCal
calendar is not writeable so syncs will only work one-way." Any idea
what's causing this? I Want to do two-way sycns with Ical.

Hi Paul,

It sounds like you're using the new MobileMe Calendar system. The new
MobileMe calendars are CalDAV calendars and Apple only supports read-
only access of CalDAV calendars through its sync architecture.

I'd suggest reverting back to the regular MobileMe Calendar system.
You can do so by going here:

https://www.me.com/calendar/downgrade

Please let us know if that doesn't address the problem or you have
other questions.

Thanks,

Byron

Byron,

I ran across this trying to solve the same problem as the original poster.  Unfortunately, the directions you linked to for downgrading to the regular MobileMe Calendar system now results in a 404.  Any chance you know of another copy of these instructions?

Hi Jacob,

Apple has removed the ability to downgrade MobileMe to the old
version.
