Future of standalone Spanning Tools?

I know that the Spanning Tools are now available in the Mac App Store.  I've been a customer for quite some time (pre-mAS). What's the future of the standalone version of the Spanning Tools?  Will they continue to be updated, or is everything being transitioned to the Mac App Store?

Hi Evans,

That's a good question. The answer is that for the time being,
Spanning Tools for Mac will continue to be available as a download
outside of the Mac App Store. In fact, that's the only way you're
able to get Sync Tune-Up because it can't be sold on the Mac App
Store.
