Test Development Specialist II
This position will perform software testing and documentation as part of a customer product development team.
The position requires proficiency using the MS Windows GUI, utilities, file management and applications but does not involve any software development or programming.
The Specialist will execute software test procedures which have been previously developed, analyze actual versus expected visual and stored data outcomes, record test results and tester comments, and write a test report document based on a provided report template.
The Specialist will recommend test procedure updates and document updates as required.
Test result tracking for an entire software product test plan will be the responsibility of this position. Data analysis, charting results graphically, creating data tables and related technical writing will be assigned to this position as required.
This position requires certification by the customer as a Test Director I for laboratory and field testing of DoD Command and Control Information Systems. This position works in a 100% smoke-free environment.
Expertise with MS office products is required (Word and Excel).
This position is a temporary full-time position with potential for becoming a regular full-time position. An active DoD security clearance is necessary. Some of the activities of this position will be performed at a customer site.
