Internet Software QA Manager
- Providing coaching, feedback and day to day direction to team members, including periodic formal reviews - Supplying quality assurance oversight for the web application platform and architecture - Assigning tasks and managing team workload under resource constraints, including utilizing offshore testing team capabilities to their very fullest - Release planning and scheduling - Setting direction for the group's software testing methodology, including tools and processes - Managing vendor relationships and cost center financial performance - Knowledge of the evolution around browser technologies including global usage and differentiation - Continued interests in the evolution of browser testing tools including automated multi-browser test strategies (Selenium preferred)
- eCommerce and extranet/portal web technologies - Agile software development methodologies - Creating effective test plans and test cases - Automated testing tools (QTP, QC, Selenium) - Business analysis and requirements elicitation techniques - Performance testing (load/stress testing) - Production assurance and monitoring technologies - Web application security architecture and related technologies - Project management practices - Java Platforms (WebLogic, Apache, iPlanet, Tomcat, JBoss)
Requires Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related degree.
