Quality Engineer
Responsible for software test engineering functions
Participates in reviewing functional business requirements
Create and maintain test cases based upon functional requirements
Follow documented software development/testing processes
Identify process improvements
Execute test cases
Document software application issues in problem report tracking tool
Assist software engineering team with isolating and documenting issues
Support operations and customer support teams by resolving and/or documenting issues that are escalated to engineering
Configure/maintain software test environments
Assist and/or perform software releases
Ability to travel occasionally
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination * 5+ years of manual software test experience * SQL or PL/SQL experience * Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic assignment based environment * Self-managed, self-starter able to work in a rapidly changing environment. * Ability to communicate effectively with all employees at all levels and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude * Ability to analyze, problem solve, improve processes, and make quick decisions
* Experience testing embedded applications on hand held devices * Experience with C# and/or ASP.NET based applications * Experience with Web and/or client/server application automated test tools * Experience in using Lean or Agile development/testing methodologies * Experience in code reviews
