Software Quality Assurance Engineerty Assurance Engineer

Execute & deliver assigned tasks as scoped from the QA Lead/Mgr. Participate in implementation of effective & proven QA methodologies & processes through creation of test plans, test cases & test data, & successful execution & management of the test plans using MS Project to track test timelines & milestones. Perform functionality, usability, integration, installation & regression testing. Document & track software defects. Collaborate with Developers, Automation Developers, & Business Analysts to gather & produce test cases for testing. Develop, apply & maintain quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal & external standards. Develop & execute software test plans. Analyze & write test standards & procedures. Maintain documentation of test results. Analyzes test results & recommends corrective actions. Requires Bachelor's degree in any field & 2 years of work experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Educ. or exp. must include: l)Testing/QA software applications &/or systems; 2)Data analysis; 3)Technical presentations & demos; 4)J2EE & Java; 5)SQL & PL/SQL; 6)UNIX & Linux; 7)WebLogic; & 8)Reading & analyzing design specifications, developing testing approach & methodologies, & writing & executing test cases that test complex functionality. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
