Senior Software Quality Engineer
* 3 years+ experience as a Software Developer in Test
* A diverse programming background with extensive Python, C absolutely required
* Solid foundation in UNIX required
* An understanding of filesystems and network protocols
* Demonstrable experience in object oriented program design
* Demonstrable experience in software testing, including test ownership and test development
* Experience owning development projects from design to maintenance and end-of-life.
* Experience as the lead designer, tester, or developer on a recent software project
* Extensive experience with end-to-end systems testing
Desired Skills
* Linux and Windows and ideally ESX/ESXi
* Perl and/or Python skills
* C or C++ and Java code, and are familiar with building open-source applications (make, configure, automate)
* Familiar with various Backup Applications and understand the NDMP protocol
* Virtualization, CIDR, VLANs, link aggregation, DHCP and SNMP
* Eager to learn about new technology, willing to research, and answer questions when needed, including helping out with support escalations
