Manager, Quality Assurance

• Strong comprehensive knowledge of software testing process, methodology and best practices;

• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux and Android operating systems;

• Basic knowledge of wireless broadband technology (i.e. Wi-Fi and 3G cellular technology);

• Experience with the test case management tools;

• Experience with Test Automation for embedded devices and user interface

• Testing experience with applications using SQL server, Linux server (RedHat) and Windows 32 Bit server;

• Any Microsoft certification such as MCSE/2003 or MCSA a definite plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Some travel required, likely to be a couple times per quarter to either other SMSI sites or for customer support.

• Minimum of 8-10 yrs of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing;

• Experience leading or managing teams

• Ability to multi-task three to four projects at the same time or to manage one single large project Education Required:

Bachelors degree in computer science or electrical engineering or higher
