A friend told me her niece's name is Bris. I've never known anyone named
Bris but I certainly know what a bris is. Friend said she had never heard
of this and doubts that one in a million know. She is a retired school
counselor, taught psychology at a junior college, and claims to be well
read. Wouldn't one think that the parents would have looked up the meaning
of this name since it is an unusual one.

Nancy, needing to move back to the city

Well, Sarah Palin went to college and I can't imagine she would know
what the word meant. Do you ever wonder how the left over piece is
disposed of? Maybe some quirky rabbi saves them and makes baking
powder briscuits.--Nantz

If you ever watched TV shows like Seinfeld, you would know.
Also, there are ceremonies for it in several films.
You don't have to be Jewish to know the words.

You Leftie women are going to find out what it means the hard way when

falling off.

I hear they make wallets out of them,
which can quickly turn into suitcases when rubbed
