Origins of the Despensers (redux)

Hello All,
In the unending search for that Holy Grail (or dingy dispenser as
the case may be), the origins of the Despensers, I have reviewed and
reconstructed what I had previously proposed about a year ago. The
following is clearly reasonable as to chronology (an improvement as
Chris Phillips and Rosie Bevan will note), and is reasonable based
on what we know (at present) concerning the lands at Burton on the
Wolds, co. Leics. In addition, the onomastic evidence (especially
the repetition of the names Hugh, Thomas and Elias) and the subsequent
relationships between Elias de Prestwold and Stephen de Segrave (a
Despenser in-law), and between Stephen de Segrave and the grandchildren
of Ivo de Alspath, is also compelling. The absence of a confirmatory
document, esp. as to Thomas 'dispensator' [d. 1207, 1.1.1.1.2. in the
chart below] and his relationship to individuals in this chart prior
to his brother Elias, is also obvious.
Those connections that are conjectured/unproven as of this date
are given as broken lines ( _ _ _ _ ). For the sake of providing
all sources I currently have in hand, at the end of this post is
a detailed pedigree crossreferenced to the chart below. References
cited in the chart are the same as given at the end of the pedigree.
To the best of my knowledge, there are no significant sources
(e.g. CCR, Dugdale, CP) unturned. If so, we may not be able to
advance further than this point. However, should anyone have a
source to hand, or suggestion as to other fonts for fossicking,
please advise.

chaplain of St. Andrew's, Prestwold - gifts of son Elias and of
Robert Putrel de Cotes to Bullington priory of lands in Prestwold

Thomas obviously held his lands (or at least these 10 bovates) in
Burton of Ansketil de Berges (elsewhere Ansketil de Prestwold);
these may have been either inheritance from his mother, or
devised by his father, but were evidently therefore held of
his elder brother.
' Honors and Knights' Fees ii:58 etseq. gives Ellis Despenser
enfeoffed of Loughbourough by Hugh de Beauchamp after 1158.
Ellis succeeded by Thomas, living 1166. This Thomas donated 10
bovates in Burton on the Wolds, Leics. of the fee of ASKETIL
de Berges.' (the cite by Farrer references CCR IV:475)[15]
'Thomas Dispensator gave to Stephen de Segrave with Roese his
daughter in free marriage a rent of 2s in Burton', to them and
