Recently had a small drama with a client, author of the Best Selling series of the Roy Grace Crime Thrillers, he was 2 weeks away from submitting the manuscript of the latest in the series when he switched his 6 month old MacBook Pro on to get the folder with a flashing question mark; the SSD had failed catastrophically.

The computer is generally in excellent condition apart from a small defect on the front, left-hand corner, where it was accidentally introduced to the floor of Heathrow Terminal 5 (See Pictures.)
The computer has just had a brand new 480gb OWC Mercury Electra 6G SATAIII Solid State Drive installed followed by a clean install of its operating system and all applications, utilities and drivers. Due to the Solid State Drive and the 16gb of RAM installed, the computer is extremely fast; from pressing the power-on button to a usable desktop takes 10-11 seconds and PhotoShop CS6 starts up in less that 3 seconds.
The computer is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for another 5 months.
