What has happened to Pages? There is no longer a 'save as'. I am using Pages '09 version 4.1. When I write letters I pull up headed paper but then cannot save it to the recipient. Before there was the choice of 'save' or 'save as' now there is save, duplicate or save as template.

Virginia, I have the same version of Pages and it does have the 'save as' function. Strange!

I think that went with Lion.  However, if memory serves, hitting save brings up the dialogue box you would expect to have had with save as.

You have to click Duplicate first and then Save (as) although the 'as' isn't there, it's basically the same process.

Yes, it's rather annoying, but now used to it, it's ok.

You duplicate at the onset, then save it as the new letter, which will then save various versions along the way.

and actually, versions has saved my bacon a few times already, in a way I didn't think it would!!
