Hi all,

I seen to have lost control of my ical? Every time i add a date or a
repeat event (ie shift pattern) it accepts it but when i close down
ical then open up again its as if it never existed??
I am using fliq for mac to sync with my htc phone, but this hasnt been
a problem before. Anyone had any problems recently with ical ?

Thanks in advance

Do any others experience short term freezing on the track pad. I have noticed it at least from the start of OS X, and in every machine I use. I put it down to the processor getting distracted from the trackpad, but it's disconcerting and sometimes very annoying, specially when graphic work.

Maybe someone even has a solution to this problem?

Hi Deano

Are you able to create a new calendar? It could be that your calendars directory is read-only for some reason, have you tried repairing permissions?

Hi Ranulph

It's something I see regularly with PC laptops but have never seen it with a Mac. Do you get the problems with a USB mouse or bluetooth trackpad?

Hi Sam, thanks for your suggestion, i have tried this already and I tried it again but no change. I cant see if it is read only or not, but i dont know how i could find that out? i did try loading ical again off my snow lep disc with nil fix?
If any other ideas i will be very grateful.

Many thanks

I'll see if I can get this with a bluetooth trackpad, but it's a problem I have had with virtually all trackpads for many years. The cursor just freezes for a couple of seconds. I use almost nothing but macs.
