Our application needs to work with multiple EHRs that use different FHIR versions. Currently the python client only supports a single version. I have a PR that allows it to simultaneously support multiple versions here https://github.com/smart-on-fhir/client-py/pull/81

Is anyone from the smart-on-fhir github org available to review this?

Thanks

Thanks Andrew for the PR and the notification here! I'm adding to the thread...

+Harold, who's maintaining this library
+Carl who has expressed interested in helping with code review for the library

Best,
Josh

Thanks Andrew, we’ve seen the PR and I’ve also notified a couple people currently working on updates. While the multi version support is something the library should work towards, this should probably not be done in one humongous PR but stepwise. Also, Harold and team have been working on major updates that will also be breaking. Feel free to communicate with the community via the Python stream on chat.fhir.org .

Our application also needs to work with multiple EHRs that use different FHIR versions. I saw that the PR to enable multiple FHIR versions was closed. Is there any follow up on the topic? Do you have any suggestions on how to do this? I want to avoid installing multiple versions of the same library.

Thanks,
Novia
