Domain directives now work

A named outline can now specify a domain as a directive.

For example:

Now instead of my space being hosted at http://kyle.smallpict.com it is hosted under my domain at http://www.kyleshank.com.

If a domain directive is present calls to the named outline domain ending in smallpict.com will redirect to the same uri on the domain specified in the directive.

If you want to see an example check out my outline by going to File > Open by name in Fargo and entering "kyle"

Feeds

In conjunction with Fargo 0.81 feeds feature Trex will serve the feed created by Fargo at http://yourname.smallpict.com/rss.xml

The macro "opmlFeed" has also been added and is available to use in your templates. The value of opmlFeed is the url to the RSS feed hosted by Trex.

Looking at your outline, it appears you stopped including blog contents contained in a different opml file. This looks more efficient but it appears that you no longer have a working index. It seems there's a trade-off at work. When I added isFeedItem=true to my "included" blog, it didn't carry over to my named outline, whereas the feed works when you have your blog actually in your named outline.

Oops. Looking at theron's blog, I see I can just include the named outline itself in the index. Nevermind.

my included outline (where my blog post are) isn't named. So when I create a post there, it's not added to my feed. So perhaps having it included isn't the way to go. (?)

We'd like to help you make it work without having to do includes.

Ok. I now have my blog in my named outline, with domain=www.jeffreykishner.com. However, I added the isFeedItem=true attribute to the two most recent posts and there's no feed.

I did a force-refresh, resaved and added a new headline and now it's working, thanks.

I've already emailed Dave about this but having the rules in the feed is weird. I guess you can put as many as possible in the template, but when you create post-specific ones to override those in the template, they're going to show up.

There are a bunch of features within Fargo (the Feed feature for example) that rely on working within a named outline.

I had been including my blog content from a separate file because the only way to define a headline with a domain attribute and also take advantage of the plus icon and the calendar structure.

Now that the domain can be defined as a directive the include isn't necessary and I can use the calendar structure within my named outline.

If you want to host multiple blogs and use the calendar structure I would create a named outline for each site and use the domain directive.

That's something I overlooked in the initial version.

I'll add code to filter rules out of the description.
