Hi guys!

I work with java slideshare api and in some cases recently I
get a requet timeout exception (after i do another call and all work
fine!)? Why this? I change nothing into the code and till one week ago
all work fine. Something is changed?

Thanks in advance!

Denis

Hello,
If you do not mind, could you tell us which of the API calls is giving you these problems and if possible with the parameters. No need for the time-stamps etc, just the parameters which are specific to the API call would suffice. We will definitely try to resolve any issues you are facing.

Thank you,
Aadhar Mittal

Hi,

I have also been facing the same issue while uploading files - I just
catch the exception and try again later. I think the parameters have
nothing to do with it since the exact same request goes through when I
retry after some time. I have also noticed, that once I get a
timeout, then the next few requests also timeout before everything
starts working again.

I get the exception using the API ver2 when I try to get the
"Slideshows By User" with the following parameters "details, offset,
limit" (I think that the parameters are not so important). As I wrote
before not always I get the exception but when I get it, if I do again
the request all work fine without problems.
This problem arise recently 1-2 weeks ago but I have made no change in
my code.

Thanks in advance

Denis
