Hello Nicolas,
Skanect is a great piece of technology that you have created, and I am very pleased with the new features that you have added in ver 1.5, namely the full texture output, optional tracking requirement and configurable smoothing while creating watertight mesh.
A big missing feature though for me is support for multiple scanners. My primary use case is face and full body scanning, and v1.4 and v1.5 work well at those especially with the optional tracking requirement in v1.5. But with support for multiple scanners, I could have set up 3 scanners vertically, and with only 1 circular motion captured the full body scan, as is supported by Artec Studio.
Is multi scanner support on your list of features to be added?
I read through the whole forum for full body scanning, and the lazy susan as you suggesting on another latest thread seems to very good advice. We have been using manual lazy susan, and are in process of creating a motorized lazy susan for the purpose. Do you have any other tips on doing full body scan with single scanner?
Thanks and keep up the great work,
Abhishek
