We've updated sipXcom 18.04 RPM's to 18.04.1. The ISO has not been updated. Users running 18.04 should be able to simply 'yum update' when logged in as root to pickup the following updates:

SIPX-403 P-Asserted-Identity of Proxy - SIP SIde

- RequestLinter quth plugin now takes into account presence of SIPX_PASS_P_ASSERTED_IDENTITY config paremter

when passing PAI header

SIPX-404: P-Preferred-Identity of Proxy - GUI work

SIPX-744 sipxlang-pt.jar schema within spring bean xml uses wrong classpath

SIPX-746: Help text should be added to database page to indicate that voting can be disabled only when priority is 0

SIPX-754: elasticsearch using up too much memory due to number of transactions in audit logging

- Use cron job to delete from ES instead config loading all docs in memory and remove them

UC-4729: zen 7688: g729 in 'selected' codecs by default

- Move g729 into available section for all phone plugins

I did the yum update today. Rebooted the sipxcom for good measure after doing that but the 503 still appears unless I restart the sipxconfig service. I thought SIPX-744 should have resolved this. Do still need to remove the associated language to have successful reboot without the internet?

You may need to do a send profiles on services/servers

I had the same issues before doing the yum update on rel 18.x. In version 16.x and 17.x I didn't experience this issue. Just be clear, I can't access the web gui after a reboot unless I restart the sipxconfig service,

What I'm observing with all release 18 versions is that the 503 message appears when trying to access the GUI when a configured server is rebooted and there is no internet connectivity - in the Sipxconfig log file there are Java errors. Once Internet connectivity is re-established and sipxconfig is restarted, the 503 message no longer appears and the GUI logon menu appears. Hope this helps. Peter

Oh, maybe I didn’t respond to the wrong thread. I did two updates last night, one is giving me that same 503 message. It has internet access, as my update was done remote. I don’t recall if I rebooted the server or not though. I have bigger issues on the second one, as the primary partition has plenty of disc space, bit it appears to be using a Backup partition that ran out of space. Status of sipXecs shows some missing packages.

I don’t have remote access to fill in more details – but will shortly.

The site with the 503 has a sipxecs status that looks decent. There are several services that don’t come up, SAA, paging. Sipxconfig looks good – which is what normally I see not up completely on startup showing the 503.

So updated a system last night. I made an adjustment to the DNS this morning by adding an external DNS option – not sure it helps but there wasn’t one there beyond the customers domain controllers. The system now shows a good status on all sipXcom components. However, the 503 error is still given when trying to open the web gui.
