Hello All,

SipXcom administers DHCP to my LAN and there are no longer any ip's left to assign.  The settings are as follows:

Subnet:  192.168.0.0/24
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
IP Range:  192.168.0.50 - 192.168.0.250

What I think I should do:

From the GUI ->  SERVER -> DHCP: By changing the CDIR Notation to /22 and change the Netmask to 255.255.252.0  this will increase the DHCP pool to 192.168.0.50 - 192.168.3.254

Is this all I have to do or am I about to really screw something up?   Also - If this is in fact the solution shouldn't I renew all DHCP Leases?   Is there command line command to do this?

Thank you in advance!
Jim

Well you can't just do that...  anything that is statically addressed on your network would need to have the subnet mask changed.  So, sipXcom server, file servers, printers (if they are static), firewall, any other network gear (like access points, etc).

That’s why I asked – looks like I have some work to do.  Thanks Mike!
