Is there a way to encode the facet control settings into the URL so
that I can send the link to someone and have them look at the same
data I am looking at?

Use ex:queryParamName in your facet code.
For example :
<div ex:role="facet" ex:facetClass="TextSearch"
ex:queryParamName="srch"></div>
Then in your URL: www.whateveryourdomainis.com/simexh.html?srch=yourkeyword

It looks like this is only available for the TextSearch facet? What
about the Slider facet?

This is great, but it does only seem to trigger on free-text facets (which makes sense from a sanity standpoint).  Has anyone had any luck implementing something similar that works against any facet, and has a decent failure state (show all or show none?) if the search fails?
