BUG: BarChart crashes

API: 2.2.0 - Exhibit with BarChartView extension as online at

Platform: Ubuntu
Browsers: Firefox 5.0, Opera 11.01, Google Chrome 11.0.696.34 beta
Consistency: problem occurs every time
Description:

I am using Exhibit.BarChartView as described at
http://people.csail.mit.edu/karger/Exhibit/Nobelists/nobelists.html

Specifically, I am focusing on the bar chart of the Discipline
collection.

When trying to adapt this to my own use, I seem to have stumbled on a
bug which crashes Firefox, Opera and Chrome (can't test on IE, since I
don't have it).

I have set up an example online, the "works" example uses the
nobelists.js unaltered, while in the "breaks" example I have deleted
most of the items to make it clearer and altered the "discipline"
property on the remaining ones. The problem occurs only for some
specific combinations of "disciplines". Playing around with changing
either of the last two nobelists disciplines to "Peace" should
illustrate the problem quickly.

It's the right place; perhaps you could file a bug on the project issues
list:

under the Exhibit project. There's an infinite while loop causing your
issue.
