force placement of timelines?

Hi...

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I don't see anything in the docs that gives an answer. Have not looked at the javascript yet but thought I would ask first.

Is there some way to control the ordering of the timeline so that items are placed in a fixed order? You can see what I mean here:

The items are currently being placed in a way that (I guess) minimizes the vertical space required. But is there a way to force the timeline to display Washington, then Adams, then Jefferson, etc -- with each line below the previous one?
